Vintage poster for Wayne Thiebaud's exhibition at SFMoMA featuring his painting "Sunset Streets" acquired by the museum in 1986. Set in an aluminum frame, powder coated in mustardy yellow. Glass glazing. Thiebaud was a Bay Area artist perhaps best know for his commonplace food paintings, though this series of city scapes with flattened perspective is my personal favorite.
